Rehoming a Dog

On many occasions stray dogs fail to be reunited with their owners.

A stray dog must stay in our kennels for eight days to give their owner chance to find them. If an owner does not come forward they can then go into a new home.

If you would like to give a dog a home please have a look at the stray pages to see what dogs are available.

Please note the dogs are available on a first come first served basis the moment they step into our kennels.

You can leave a deposit to reserve a dog at any time, however it must be collected on it's eigth day. Your deposit is fully refundable if an owner comes forward, but not if you change your mind.

Please feel free to come along and view the dogs in person within our opening hours.

The rehoming fee is £60.00 this includes micro-chipping. ID must be provided when rehoming a dog.
Please read the following information carefully before considering purchasing a stray dog from our kennels.

We are contracted to North and North East Lincs Councils

The dogs are strays and little or nothing is known about their past

A vet has treated dogs that have required basic medication

THEY HAVE NOT BEEN VACCINATED

It is recommended that new owners should register their pets with a veterinary surgeon, who will advise on their new pet's requirements including vaccinations, worming, flea treatment and feeding.

It is NOT advised to leave young children and/or established pets alone with the new dog. They should be introduced gradually.

North and North East Lincs Councils and Sangreat Kennels cannot accept any further responsibility for the dog once it has left the kennels.

If, for any reason, the dog is unsuitable it may be returned to the kennels within a 28 day period, from day of purchase, however NO monies will be refunded.
